You may have seen ‘Live Chat’ while browsing the web before. Usually, a friendly looking face pops up in the corner and says “Hi! How May I Help You?” or something to that effect. Live chat allows you to reach customers at their peak interest and offers a friendly voice to answer any questions they may have - and point them in the right direction.
All home builders need a strategy to collect positive reviews for their company. There are several places where you can collect reviews such as Google, Facebook, Houzz, etc. We talk to hundreds of home builders regularly, and each builder has their own preferred platform to collect reviews. However, does it matter where you solicit reviews?
It does matter.
Like most home builders or home remodelers, you have likely invested thousands of dollars into the design and development of your website. It is a huge aspect of your marketing strategy and online presence, and it is extremely important that this website attracts new leads for your company.
However, this is often not the case.
Most custom home builders would much rather focus on the actual work of building a home than trying to find potential customers to buy that home. Of course, most builders who have survived previous tumultuous years in the housing industry are well aware of the dangers of trusting in the “If you build it, they will come (and buy it)” philosophy of business.
If you don’t do something to generate leads—qualified leads that bring you sales—you’ll be out of business no matter how good you are with a hammer and saw. But what kind of marketing will actually generate those kinds of leads?
