From there, we analyzed the top-ranking pages that matched the type of content we aimed to create. Our research focused on identifying common trends and best practices, including:

  1. The additional keywords these pages optimized for beyond the target keyword.

  2. Metadata, such as page titles and meta descriptions, that contributed to their rankings.

  3. Structural elements, like the number and hierarchy of headers (e.g., H2s, H3s).

  4. Word count and content depth.

  5. User experience elements, such as page layout and navigation.

This comprehensive analysis gave us a blueprint for success. By understanding what worked for the current top-ranking pages, we could combine their best elements, innovate where needed, and create content that would outperform them.

Implementation
