Most of us grew up hearing, “a watched pot never boils.” As it turns out, if you watch a pot full of water that’s on the stove long enough, it will actually boil. The problem is that most of us are busy enough doing other things that we don’t have time to stare at a pot full of water.
If you’ve been in the home building or remodeling business for a while you know that there are certain questions you can count on prospective buyers asking. One is guaranteed to be: “How much will it cost to build the home I want?” And another that’s probably in the top three or four most frequently asked questions is: How long is it going to take you to build my home?”
Some questions are pretty much universal—regardless of what industry you’re in! We get asked the same questions all the time. And like you, the answer is often preceded by the phrase: “It depends.”
